Taylor's 812e Grand Concert model is a gem of an instrument! With its Sitka Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides, this guitar has a lot of definition and sparkle in the highs, while the smaller size of the body provides a pleasant, intimate playing experience. And with the new radius-style armrest, playing this Taylor is even more comfortable! The 812e is ideally suited for the fingerpickers among us thanks to the balanced and focused tone, a quality that is partly achieved by the V-Class bracing. In addition, Taylor has re-voiced the 800 series, which has added an extra layer of warmth in the midrange. Finally, we find the renowned Expression System 2 on the guitar for an insanely amplified sound, and we see luxurious details such as a maple binding, rosewood top trim, smoked nickel tuners and a rosewood pickguard.
