The SJ-200 Standard Proves the King of the Flat-Tops Still Has the Loudest Voice in the Room
The Gibson SJ-200 has lived up to its nickname for almost ninety years, and the Standard line is the most direct way to get your hands on that legacy. The Sitka Spruce top on figured maple back and sides delivers the characteristic SJ-200 sound: broad, full, and dynamic, with projection that effortlessly fills a room. The Tri Burst finish gives this model the layered, warm look befitting the SJ-200's grandeur. The LR Baggs Anthem pickup makes the instrument instantly stage and studio-ready.
The distinctive Two Bar Moustache bridge, Mother-of-Pearl inlays, and gold Grover Rotomatic tuners give the SJ-200 Standard its unmistakable identity. The TUSQ nut, saddle, and bridge pins ensure optimal transfer and consistent intonation. The mahogany neck has a comfortable profile that effortlessly supports both chord playing and lead.
The rosewood fretboard has 20 frets over a 24.75-inch scale. The nitrocellulose Tri Burst finish and full SJ-200 hardware complete an instrument that delivers all the qualities of the SJ-200 legacy in a playable and immediately deployable package. Supplied with Gibson hardshell case.
