This pedal is part of LofimindEffects' "Rare Birds" collection. These are very exclusive pedals built with vintage-correct and extremely rare components. Each pedal has a unique finish and only 4 to 5 of each model are built per year.
The LofiMind Effects Gypsy Face is a unique tribute to the original 1966 Fuzz Face. This completely handmade fuzz is built to vintage specifications, with '60s Mullar Germanium Transistors, vintage capacitors and old school resistors. Everything is built point-to-point on a vintage Bakelite base plate. The signature attention to detail isn't just nice for the specs; Like every pedal from LofiMind Effects, this fuzz simply sounds fantastic, with a pronounced, smooth midrange. The Fuzz responds perfectly to your volume knob; As befits a beautiful Fuzz Face, you can easily get a crystal-clear clean sound from it, even with the fuzz control set to maximum. This copy has a "psych" finish selected by Dijkmans. This Fuzz is one of a kind!
