The Thunderbird that rocked the bass world in 1964, now in a timeless Silver Mist finish

The Epiphone Thunderbird 64 is one of the most recognizable bass guitars ever built. With its asymmetrical body, reverse headstock, and unmistakable silhouette, it directly references the original that conquered stages in the early '60s. In Silver Mist, the Thunderbird not only looks impressive, but it also sounds exactly as you'd expect a Thunderbird to: full, dark, and with enough punch to be heard in any ensemble.

The two Probucker Bass humbuckers deliver a warm, powerful sound with clear lows and ample definition in the mids. The simple 2x volume, 1x tone controls allow you to quickly dial in your sound, whether you're looking for a round fingerstyle sound or a more aggressive approach with a pick. The mahogany/walnut neck with a 60s Rounded Bass profile fits comfortably in the hand and is connected to the mahogany body via a set neck, ensuring good sustain and direct tone transfer.

The Indian Laurel fretboard has 20 frets with dot inlays on a 34" scale length with a 12" radius, making the Thunderbird 64 suitable for bassists of all levels. The open-gear tuners with historic clover buttons and a 19:1 gear ratio ensure accurate and stable tuning. The Epiphone Vintage Bass Tune-O-Matic bridge completes the vintage character of this instrument.

An iconic bass guitar with a timeless look, for the bassist who wants to stand out without compromising on tone.
