Epiphone Joe Bonamassa '59 Les Paul Custom
Joe Bonamassa is known worldwide as a virtuoso guitarist and a collector of unique guitars. One of the absolute gems in his collection is his 1959 Gibson Les Paul Custom . This guitar, also known as the "Black Beauty," is one of the most sought-after models from the late 1950s. But Joe's example is even more special: a rare custom order with only two pickups instead of the usual three, and also equipped with Grover® Imperial™ tuners and a Bigsby® vibrato.
With the Epiphone Joe Bonamassa 1959 Les Paul Custom, you can now experience this unique guitar for yourself—and at an affordable price. The guitar features a stylish Antique Ebony finish on an all-mahogany body, finished with aged multi-ply binding around the top and back. The mahogany neck has a comfortable 1959 Rounded Medium C profile and is fitted with a bound ebony fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets and classic pearloid block inlays.
The 60s Kalamazoo headstock is also richly detailed: multi-ply binding, the Epiphone logo, and the iconic Custom Split Diamond in mother-of-pearl. A Graph Tech® nut provides stability, while the Grover tuners and Bigsby® B70 vibrato are not only practical but also visually impressive.
The sound is provided by two Epiphone ProBucker™ Custom pickups, each with its own volume and tone controls and high-quality CTS® potentiometers. This results in a versatile and dynamic tone, perfectly suited to the character of a Les Paul Custom. The hardware is, of course, finished in gold, including the LockTone™ Tune-O-Matic™ bridge.
The guitar comes with a certificate of authenticity and a deluxe hardshell case with "Nerdville" graphics. This limited edition Epiphone Joe Bonamassa '59 Les Paul Custom is not only a tribute to a legendary guitarist and an iconic model, but also a beautiful piece of craftsmanship that will delight any guitarist.
