As if teleported from the past, this reissue of the iconic 1964 SG™ Standard has all the appeal of the famous original. Crafted from solid mahogany it features a full-fisted Authentic '64 medium C neck. The Indian rosewood fingerboard is punctuated by Plek®-finished mid-sized jumbo frets for accurate intonation, while the traditional hidden glue-fit heightens tonal resonance. Dual unpotted Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups deliver their sonic punch with an airy, vibrant recreation of the historic Gibson PAF growl. Adding to the classic feel, this instrument is finished with a vintage nitrocellulose patina, slightly aged nickel hardware, and Maestro™ Vibrola with Gibson Lyre tailpiece.
