The Gibson Les Paul Standard '50s Tobacco Burst that proves the original recipe is still unbeatable

There are guitars that define a genre, and then there's the Gibson Les Paul Standard '50s in Tobacco Burst. Not a piece of nostalgia, but an instrument that takes the specifications of the original 1950s Les Paul as its starting point and executes them with modern precision. The combination of a solid mahogany body with an AA Figured Maple top and Tobacco Burst finish is one of the most timeless appearances in the world of electric guitars.

The sound of the Standard '50s revolves around the Burstbucker 1 and 2, Gibson's most faithful interpretation of the original P.A.F. humbuckers. The Burstbucker 1 in the neck is slightly warmer and rounder, the Burstbucker 2 at the bridge is slightly brighter and more present. Together, they deliver that unmistakable Les Paul tone: full, warm, and with a sustain that lets notes ring out long after you've played them. The figured maple top contributes to a bright attack on top of the warm mahogany foundation.

The Vintage '50s neck shape in mahogany gives the guitar that substantial, warm feel under the hand. The rosewood fretboard with Acrylic Trapezoid inlays and 22 frets on a 24.75" scale offers the characteristic Gibson playability. The ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge with aluminum stopbar tailpiece and Gibson Deluxe tuners with keystone knobs complete the vintage-accurate picture. Includes hardcase.

The Les Paul Standard '50s Tobacco Burst is an instrument that needs no introduction. Only an amplifier.
