The Microtubes X Ultra from Darkglass exponentially expands the enormous versatility of the Microtubes X7. For example, X Ultra is equipped with the very extensive setting options that its predecessor already had, with which users can fine-tune exactly which frequencies they want to compress and overdrive. The difference, however, lies in a number of useful additions, including additional frequency sliders for 250 Hz and 3 kHz and a distortion footswitch, all of which provide an extra layer of flexibility while retaining the same compact footprint, making the Darkglass Microtubes very complete tool for the modern bassist.
