The Eastman E1P-CLA: a parlour with solid sapele and a room-filling tone
The E1P-CLA is Eastman's parlour in its most direct form. Compact in size, but anything but small in sound. The combination of a Sitka spruce top with solid sapele back and sides gives this instrument a warmth and directness typical of a parlour: intimate, expressive, and particularly responsive to a light touch. Classic finish, no frills, pure instrument.
The mahogany neck with ebony fretboard and dot inlays feels stable and fast. The Traditional Even C-neck, 12" radius, and 24.9" scale length make the guitar comfortably playable for both fingerstyle and light chord accompaniment. Open gear tuners and an ebony bridge complete an instrument that takes its materials seriously. 20 frets, glued-in neck construction.
A parlour for the player who consciously chooses smaller, without compromising on quality. Supplied with a gig bag.
