Less is more, that's what the Gibson Les Paul Junior stands for! A single P90 pickup, in a cool Ebony finish
What a cool guitar this is. The Gibson Les Paul Junior has long been the perfect example that simplicity and versatility can go hand in hand. It's clear by now that the Les Paul Junior lends itself to virtually any genre. And they look fantastic too! This reissue—finished in a sleek Ebony finish—harks back to the classic design of this legendary guitar from Gibson's Golden Era. This Les Paul Junior is equipped with all the features of the era that have made the original a beloved guitar over the years, heard in countless genres. The idea behind the Les Paul Junior in 1954 was to offer an affordable alternative to the more expensive Les Paul Goldtop. As a result, the maple top was omitted and the guitar was fitted with a single P90 Dogear pickup. The mahogany body and neck (with a nice, thick, 50s-style neck profile) form a no-nonsense foundation, and the wraparound bridge provides a solid tone and wonderful playability. The tortoiseshell pickguard completes the look. Includes a chic hardcase.
