Crazy Tube Circuits Motherload: the RAT and the Big Muff in one pedal, with an ingenious twist
The Crazy Tube Circuits Motherload is an homage to two of the most iconic fuzz/distortion pedals of all time: the ProCo RAT and the EHX Big Muff. With the R/M toggle switch, you can switch between RAT- and Big Muff-inspired sounds, each with its own characteristic tone controls: the RAT side has a filter, the Big Muff side a traditional tone knob supplemented with a Voice control for different flavors of overdrive. Two classics in one compact pedal.
But the Motherload has an ingenious extra: the EQ-link button. This activates all tone controls simultaneously, allowing you to color the RAT with the EQ of the Big Muff, or vice versa. It opens up a world of hybrid sounds that you could never achieve with the original pedals. From tight, biting distortion to thick, creamy fuzz: the Motherload offers an impressively wide range of sounds in one robust pedal.
The Motherload is handmade in Greece by Crazy Tube Circuits, runs on 9V power, and is a must-have for guitarists who love character and versatility.
