The ESP LTD Phoenix-1000: A Unique Body Shape with Seymour Duncan Character
The Phoenix-1000 is one of the most striking models in the LTD range. The distinctive Phoenix body shape—an idiosyncratic variation on the classic singlecut design—combined with a Quilted Maple top in See Thru Black Sunburst finish makes this instrument a real eye-catcher. But it's about much more than just looks.
Tonally, the Phoenix-1000 offers a wide palette. The Seymour Duncan Phat Cat (neck) and Custom (bridge) pickups give this instrument a warm, P90-like character in the neck position and a powerful, cutting bridge tone. The push-pull tone control splits the bridge pickup into a single coil for extra versatility. The mahogany body with set-thru construction provides rich sustain and a full fundamental tone.
The three-piece mahogany neck has a fast Thin U profile and a Macassar ebony fretboard with 22 extra jumbo stainless steel frets. The Tonepros locking TOM bridge and LTD locking tuners ensure excellent tuning stability. All hardware is black for a sleek, consistent look.
