Few amplifiers are as deeply ingrained in music history as the Princeton Reverb. The late 60s version, with its distinctive silverface panel and warm 6V6 tone, is the benchmark for dynamic, expressive guitar playing. Fender brings that heritage back with the '68 Custom Princeton Reverb — true to the original, but with one deliberate upgrade: a 10" Celestion TEN 30 speaker that gives the midrange a firmer, more modern character, making the combo also excellent for use with effect pedals.

With 12 watts via two 6V6 power tubes, the Princeton quickly reaches the point where the tubes gently begin to compress — that sweet, musical breakup so many guitarists seek. The tube-driven reverb and tremolo are directly derived from the original '68 circuits: not a digital imitation, but the real deal. Two inputs (Input 2 with -6dB pad), a compact housing, and a weight of just 16 kg make it easy to take to rehearsals and small gigs.

Operation is simple and direct: Volume, Treble, Bass, Reverb, Speed, and Intensity — everything you need, nothing you don't. The preamp consists of 3x 12AX7 and 1x 12AT7, complemented by the two 6V6 power tubes. No effects loop, no channel switching — pure guitar through tubes to speaker. Supplied with a hard case.
