Gibson '57 Classic Plus Humbucker: More Output, Same Vintage Soul
The Gibson '57 Classic Plus is the more powerful variant of the legendary '57 Classic and was specially developed for guitarists who want more output and punch, without losing the warm vintage character. This humbucker is built to the specifications of the original Patent Applied For humbucker, but has extra windings for higher output — ideal in the bridge position. Thanks to alnico 2 magnets, nickel-plated pole pieces, nickel slugs, maple spacers, and vintage two-conductor braided wiring, the pickup delivers a full, warm tone with excellent hum cancellation. The balanced coils and potted construction eliminate microphonic feedback, ensuring the '57 Classic Plus performs reliably at any volume. Compatible with most electric guitars with a standard humbucker routing, and is often combined with the regular '57 Classic in the neck position for a classic Gibson setup.
