Amp lovers take note: This Marshall JMP from 1979 is very special indeed. After years of use by Boudewijn at Gorefest, this amplifier will leave his collection. This Marshall started life as a JMP 50 1987 but has since been modified by Peter van Weelden and fitted with the "Brown Sound" mod by Eddie van Halen.

Marshall 50w. Model1987x from 1979 , modified by Peter van Weelden, the so-called Brown Sound mod. The modification was made after repairing one of Eddie Van Halen's Marshalls.
- From an interview in 2010: https://www.bluesmagazine.nl/interview-peter-van-weelden/ – The first known (customer) was Eddie van Halen. He asked if I wanted to take a look at his broken amplifier. Of course I wanted to, it turned out to be in Los Angeles! So I flew to LA soon after (never flown before!), delivered very good work according to Eddie and my career got a great boost.

Packed with virtually indestructible vintage Philips tubes, carefully selected and tested with a warm sound in mind. The amplifier was used during the Gorefest reunion in the years 2004/2008.
