The story behind the RAT begins in Kalamazoo, USA, 1978. In a small shed, the first prototypes of this distortion were built, which would later become an absolute classic within the world of effects pedals. And actually, you only need to play it for 10 seconds to understand why; the RAT really pops out of your speaker with its almost fuzz-like, biting overdrive. Thanks to the filter you can keep the highs in check so that every amplifier will enjoy the RAT. Subtle? Absolutely not. Great? Oh yes!
