PRS SE Swamp Ash Special Charcoal

Back from the dead; the PRS Swamp Ash Special, now as an SE version!

The PRS SE Swamp Ash Special is a unique guitar within the PRS SE lineup. The first thing you notice are the pickups. For the first time, this PRS SE has an HSH configuration: 2 85/15 "S" Humbuckers and an AS-01 Single coil in the middle position. This in combination with the built-in Coil Tap makes the Swamp Ash Special extremely flexible.

And then of course there is the Swamp Ash body; we have never seen this type of wood in the SE lineup before. Characteristic of Swamp Ash are tighter bass, more clarity in the highs and more "twang" than you are probably used to from a PRS. The Swamp Ash body in combination with the Maple neck make this PRS SE a bright, clear guitar that offers a nice balance to the generally somewhat darker sounding SE models.

Furthermore, the PRS SE Swamp Ash Special is equipped with all the features and quality you may expect: a stable PRS Patented Tremolo Bridge, a Wide Thin neck profile with 25" scale and the characteristic Bird Inlays. Comes with PRS SE Gigbag.
