When Zach Myers jokingly told Paul Reed Smith that the new version of his signature model reminded him of a Private Stock guitar, Mr. Smith laughed at first. But... Later he agreed with him, because this guitar looks ridiculously good for this price! The flame maple veneer top and headstock overlay have such a lush pattern and depth that we think they could pass for a real maple top. And then that new Myers Blue color: really beautiful. The basis of this signature guitar from Shinedown's guitarist is a chambered mahogany body with a maple top and therefore a flame maple veneer. The combination of the construction and these types of wood produces a beautiful mid-range and a natural, almost reverb-like resonance. It doesn't stop there, because where the body is finished in a beautiful high gloss finish, the neck is equipped with a natural feeling satin finish that immediately feels good. Other than that, the model is unchanged, which means: 22 frets, a comfortable 24.5" scale, PRS Adjustable Stoptail bridge for the very best tone and intonation and vintage-style tuners.
