Sonic Blue in Nitro with Extra Tinted Maple Neck and SSV showcasing the Antique line at its best

The Suhr Classic S Antique Sonic Blue HSS is a guitar that convincingly combines vintage feel and modern reliability. The Sonic Blue finish in nitrocellulose lacquer on the Alder body has a fresh, light appearance that immediately evokes the best S-types of the sixties, while the Extra Tinted Maple neck has a warm, amber glow that completes the vintage look. The Antique treatment makes the guitar feel as if it has been in good hands for years.

The Indian Rosewood fretboard with a 60's C Vintage Medium profile (.830"-.950") plays comfortably and invitingly, with 22 medium Stainless Steel frets, dot inlays, and a 9"-12" compound radius. The SSV (bridge) and two V63 single coils are controlled by a 5-way switch with volume and tone. The Gotoh 510 bridge with steel block and Suhr locking tuners ensure stable tuning. Weight 3.62 kg, scale 25.5", gig bag included.

The V63 single coils in the Antique line are deliberately less hot than the V60 variants in the standard Classic S. They sound more open, airier, and respond more sensitively to touch, making them ideal for players who want to fully bring out the nuances of their technique. The SSV at the bridge adds the necessary body and output without disturbing the guitar's vintage character.
