Nathan Junior is Benson's longtime demo guitarist. A seasoned indie rocker who now works on a non-profit basis to support the Portland music scene. For example, a portion of the proceeds from every Nathan Junior amp goes to an organization that provides music lessons to Portland residents of all walks of life.

And then the amp itself. Benson went for a new price point when building this amp and instead of their usual Mercury transformers/Jupiter capacitors they use other locally produced components that work perfectly in this size. This little 5 watt combo sounds big and is therefore perfect for home and smaller gigs.

Benson's insane amplifiers are built in the United States (in Portland to be specific). Benson focuses entirely on hand-building high-quality amplifiers that give you a completely unique sound that can function as your personal canvas. The circuits that Christopher Benson and his team make are original, but do make use of the more than 70 years of amplifier history that is now available. Based on this knowledge, the components are carefully selected so that the very best quality and tone are guaranteed. What Benson amplifiers distinguish themselves in particular is their incredibly rich, grand and tasteful clean tone with an enormous dynamic range. The sound is therefore full of musical overtones and by means of your attack you can end up in a very nice compression or even overdrive.
