CEO
Jan-Willem has been the owner of Dijkmans Muziek since 2010. Under his enthusiastic and goal-oriented leadership, the store quickly made the transition from a general music store to the guitar specialist of Brabant. The love for music was there from a young age; Jan-Willem has been a bass player since the early 90s. Thanks to his years of experience in music, he can empathize with every customer like no other and provide everyone with sound advice.
Bob van Dinther (Luthier)
Bob has been the permanent luthier of Dijkmans Guitars since 1987. For decades, guitarists from all over the world have been knocking on his door for maintenance, repairs and customizing. And that is not without reason, because Bob delivers nothing but quality. Every guitar that leaves our store is set up and checked by Bob for an optimal playing and sound experience. As a gifted guitarist, he also played in countless bands and formations, up to the present day. This gave him an enormous wealth of playing experience and you can feel that in every guitar that has been set up by him!
Didier Smits (Product Specialist/Photography/Webshop)
Didier has been part of team Dijkmans since 2021. He is a huge lover of everything related to guitars and has a deep knowledge of the history of (rock) music. As a product specialist, he is the perfect companion in your search for your next instrument. He has a lot of stage and studio experience and is an expert in the field of effects, so no question is too crazy for him. He also focuses on the development of our website and, together with Fleur, he is responsible for our product photography.
Fleur van Zuilen (Product Specialist/Social Media/Photography)
Fleur has been part of the Dijkmans team since 2021. She not only brought a huge amount of stage experience with her, but also a huge know-how about social media and marketing. Fleur is largely responsible for our content on social media, but can also often be found in the store as a product specialist. Thanks to her many years on stage - solo or with her band March - she knows better than anyone what works for you and what doesn't!
Sven Broos (Product Specialist & Customer Care)
Sven has been working at Dijkmans since the end of 2019. He is a huge enthusiast - and collector - of guitars and effects and as a composer and producer he also knows everything about recording and songwriting. You can contact him for sound, honest advice on everything that has to do with music. Sven can mainly be found on our shop floor and he is always there to help you! In addition, he is involved in everything that happens after the purchase of your instrument. Think of questions about shipping, warranty and aftercare for your instrument.
Tijn Nieuwstad (Product Specialist)
Tijn Nieuwstad is the bass specialist at Dijkmans Guitars in Breda. With his deep passion for bass guitars and extensive knowledge of the instrument, Tijn is the ideal person to advise customers in their search for the perfect bass. Whether it is about choosing a bass guitar, adjusting the instrument or tips on bass techniques, Tijn is always ready to share his expertise. Outside the store, Tijn can regularly be found on many stages, where he fully uses his musical talents as a bass player.
