The Ibanez SR500ATGF is a Limited Edition bass guitar that offers everything the SR series has been praised for for decades: a lightning-fast neck, a lightweight and ergonomic body, and electronics that steer your sound in any direction. The sound of this bass is driven by two Bartolini BH2 pickups, whose blade coils provide exceptionally consistent string-to-string response. The lows are tight and defined, the mids present and punchy. The Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ gives you full control over bass, mid and treble, while the 3-way mid-frequency switch lets you choose which mid-range you want to emphasize or cut. Want to keep it simple? The EQ bypass switches directly to passive mode, with the treble pot acting as a global tone control.

The body is made of lightweight okoume, which provides a sharp attack and pleasant balance during long sets. The 5-piece roasted maple/walnut neck has a slim SR4 profile that plays fast and comfortably, even in higher positions. The rosewood fretboard with 24 medium frets and oval abalone inlays offers space for melodic lines and solos. The MR5S bridge with 19mm string spacing is adjustable and suitable for any playing style, from fingerstyle to slap. Scale length: 864 mm (34"), radius: 305 mm (12").
