The Ibanez SR505ATGF is a Limited Edition bass guitar that takes the familiar SR philosophy to the next level. Featuring a five-piece roasted maple and walnut neck, Bartolini BH2 pickups, and extensive active electronics with EQ bypass, this is an instrument that proves its worth both on stage and in the studio. The Transparent Gray Flat finish gives it a contemporary, understated character that suits any professional setting.

The sound of the SR505ATGF is shaped by the combination of an okoumé body and two Bartolini BH2 pickups with blade poles. Okoumé provides a clear attack and tight response, while the BH2s deliver a balanced string response across all five strings, including a consistent and tight B-string. The Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ with 3-way mid frequency switch gives you full control over your tone, and the EQ bypass switches the bass to passive operation in one movement, with the treble pot becoming a global tone control.

The neck is constructed from five pieces of roasted maple and walnut, ensuring excellent stability and fast playability. The SR5 neck profile is thin and comfortable, the rosewood fretboard has a 305 mm radius and offers 24 medium frets with abalone oval inlays. The scale length is 864 mm (34"), the bridge is an MR5S with adjustable saddles for personalized string spacing. Tuning machines are by Ibanez themselves.
