The Benson Preamp has been a popular and beloved amp-in-a-box for years. Chris Benson describes this Germanium version as an "alternate universe" version of the Benson Preamp. The main difference with its older brother is the input stage: it has been replaced by a Germanium Transistor, directly from the Benson Germanium Boost.
