The Gibson Hummingbird Special in Wine Red Satin is the same no-frills variant of the iconic Hummingbird model, now in a deep red color with a character all its own. The satin finish keeps the instrument practical and ready to play, while the Wine Red finish adds just enough personality for the player who doesn't want to blend in. Sitka Spruce top on solid mahogany back and sides deliver the familiar Hummingbird sound: warm, full, and direct, with the LR Baggs Element pickup built in for stage use.
The Utile neck has a SlimTaper profile with a rosewood fretboard, pearloid parallelogram inlays, and 20 frets over a 24.75 inch scale length. Grover Rotomatic tuners and the Traditional Belly Up rosewood bridge complete an instrument that offers everything you'd expect from a Hummingbird. Supplied with a premium soft shell case.
