The Walrus Audio Fundamental Series Distortion is three distortions in one compact pedal. The Fundamental Series is designed for guitarists who want a great-sounding pedal without unnecessary complexity: simple controls, three distinctly different characters, and the quality you expect from Walrus Audio, now in an affordable format.
The three distortion types each offer a unique tonal character. Dark is a dark, creamy distortion that remains dynamic and responds well to your attack. Silicon is brighter and more compressed, ideal for singing leads and saturated rhythm guitar parts. LED combines the openness of Dark with the brightness of Silicon for a versatile, inspiring distortion that is highly malleable. Gain, Tone, and Volume control the amount of overdrive, the tonal color, and the output volume.
The Fundamental Distortion has a 1/4" input and output and is powered via 9V DC. Controls via Gain, Tone, Volume, and Distortion Type (Dark, Silicon, LED).
