The passive stereo DI and line isolator that professionally connects your pedalboard to front-of-house
The Walrus Audio Canvas Stereo is built for musicians who don't want to compromise between their sound and the audience. As a passive DI/Line Isolator, it converts your unbalanced stereo signals into balanced XLR outputs, ready for any mixer or recording interface. Whether you're using an amp-in-a-box rig, playing keyboards, or have a full stereo pedalboard, the Canvas Stereo is the professional bridge to front-of-house.
At the heart of the Canvas Stereo are Walrus Audio's custom-wound Sapphire Transformers, designed for low THD and a flat frequency response from 20Hz to 20kHz. Per channel, you choose between DI mode (for high-impedance sources like electric guitar or bass, with -20dB reduction) and LI mode (for low-impedance sources like cab simulators or keyboards, at full volume). A -15dB pad in DI mode tames hot signals, while the XLR Phase Flip instantly resolves phase issues in stereo setups. The Sum XLR switch combines both channels to a single mono XLR output when the mixer only has one input, and the Sum Thru switch connects the two thru jacks for use with a single amplifier. GND Lift isolates the ground pin on the XLR to eliminate hum.
The Canvas Stereo fits a standard pedal format and looks sleek on any pedalboard. Passive, so no power supply is needed. Compact, reliable, and ready for immediate use on any stage or in any studio.
