Lakewood D-32 Custom

Specially put together by us: this D-32 Custom with a 50-year-old spruce top!

This Lakewood D-32 Custom houses a piece of true Lakewood History. During a visit to Lakewood Guitars in Germany we put together 2 very special guitars, including this D-32 Custom. While selecting the wood for the top, Mr. Lakewood himself, Martin Seeliger, made a cool suggestion: let's use a 50 year old piece of Spruce for the top! This happened and with fantastic results: the wood grain on the top of this D-32 not only looks beautiful, the guitar sounds incredibly open, dynamic and complex. AAA Indian rosewood was chosen for the sides and back for extra rich bass and open trebles. The cedar neck adds a touch of warmth to the whole. Furthermore, this D-32 Custom is equipped with the brand new LR-Baggs Hifi Element. Includes Hiscox Lakewood Hardcase.
