The OM body with cutaway that proves Martin and modern playability are not a contradiction
The Martin OMC-10E Modern Burst is a guitar for the player who wants to combine the warm, balanced tone of a classic OM body with the accessibility of a cutaway and the directness of a built-in pickup. The 1935 Sunburst satin finish gives this instrument a timeless look without dampening the tone—satin breathes, and you can hear it.
The spruce top with scalloped X-bracing provides an open, dynamic response that will appeal to both fingerpickers and flatpickers. Sapele back and sides add warmth and a slight crispness to the midrange, while the 25.4" scale length provides enough tension for a full, projecting tone. The cutaway makes the higher frets effortlessly accessible—ideal for melodic solos and extended chord shapes.
The neck is crafted from selected hardwood with a PA Profile and a width of 1 3/4" at the nut—comfortable for a wide range of playing styles. The ebony fretboard with 28 Style Dots inlays and 20 frets feels precise and durable. The satin chrome closed gear tuners tune stably, the ebony bridge with white Tusq saddle ensures clear tone transfer. Delivered with a softshell case.
A versatile Martin for the player who doesn't want to choose between tradition and functionality.
