The Orange PPC112: the 1x12 speaker cabinet that sounds like a bigger box

The Orange PPC112 is one of the most popular 1x12 cabinets on the market, and for good reason. Its closed 18mm birch plywood enclosure is slightly larger than a conventional 1x12, providing greater internal volume and thus a fuller, thicker sound with excellent projection. Compact enough to carry, big enough to impress.

The PPC112 houses a single Celestion Vintage 30 speaker, one of the most beloved guitar speakers in the world. The Vintage 30 is known for its warm mid-range, bright high strings, and a characteristic crunch that perfectly complements the Orange sound. The closed back of the enclosure enhances the bass and gives the cabinet a tight, focused response that works well in both studio and live situations.

The PPC112 features two parallel jacks for connecting to a second 16-ohm cabinet (total impedance 8 ohms), skid runners on the bottom that acoustically couple the cabinet to the stage for improved low-end response, and robust steel hardware. Power handling is 60 watts mono at 16 ohms. Dimensions: 55 x 45 x 29 cm, weight 14.75 kg. An excellent choice for lower-wattage heads such as the Orange Terror series or the OR15.
