The signature guitar of a true musical genius, in a unique finish!

Andy Wood has been known for years as a guitarist who pushes the boundaries between countless genres, from hard rock to bluegrass to fusion, to name a few! It's no surprise, then, that he teamed up with Suhr to design a guitar that's at home in any musical context. The first thing that stands out is the Whiskey Barrel finish, created by applying a blowtorch to the Swamp Ash! This not only looks cool, but also gives the guitar a unique feel, as you can clearly feel the grain of the wood. The pickups are Thornbuckers, which not only deliver a nice growl but also hold their own for more funky sounds thanks to their split-coil functionality. At first glance, you might think this is a T-style guitar, but the Suhr doesn't stop there. The Gotoh 510 tremolo is a nice bonus, and thanks to the five-way pickup switch, you can use Strat-like intermediate settings. You're probably already starting to see why a jack-of-all-trades like Andy Wood swears by this Suhr! And the guitar not only sounds fantastic, it feels incredibly solid thanks to the Roasted Maple neck with a 16" radius and jumbo stainless steel frets.
