The Catalinbread Echorec brings the legendary sound of the Binson Echorec – the iconic multi-head drum echo that was central to the sounds of Pink Floyd and other psychedelic and progressive rock classics – to your pedalboard. This pedal is not just a delay; it's a time machine that accurately emulates the unique, warm, and sometimes somewhat "wobbly" echoes of the original Binson Echorec, but in a compact, maintenance-free format.

With the Echorec, you can select 12 different playback head combinations, creating a wide range of rhythmic and atmospheric delay patterns. The Delay Time knob allows you to vary the delay time in real-time from 40ms to 1000ms, enabling you to create dynamic, spatial effects – from subtle slapback echoes to epic, swirling soundscapes. The Swell knob functions as a feedback control, allowing you to adjust the number of repeats, from a single repeat to infinite, self-oscillating loops. Additionally, the Tone knob gives you the ability to adjust the EQ of the repeats, from dark and full to bright and sharp, so you can make the repeats sound exactly as you want them to.
