Released in 2024, the Fender Custom Shop introduces the Limited Edition "P" Jazz Bass® Relic®, combining the best of a Precision Bass® and a Jazz Bass® in one instrument.
Inspired by the 1957 Fender Precision Bass, this limited edition features a two-piece body of selected ash, equipped with a Custom Shop hand-wound '57 Precision Bass® pickup for a warm and powerful sound.
The quartersawn maple neck and flat-laminated fingerboard are reminiscent of a late-50s P-Bass, but feature a '60s-style "U" Jazz Bass® back and a 1.5-inch nut, ensuring very comfortable playability across the entire neck.
Finished in Relic® Aged Cimarron Red, Aged White Blonde, or Chocolate Three-Color Sunburst Flashcoat lacquer, this bass is an instrument guaranteed to become a favorite in any collection.
