Burl Maple Master Grade on Black Limba with Birdseye Maple Fretboard — the Regius 7 you only see once

The Mayones Regius 7 Buckeye Burl Master Grade Custom Colour is a guitar you only see once. The Master Grade Burl Maple top on the Black Limba body has a unique pattern of swirls and colours that is not the same on any other specimen. The 3-ply black ABS binding on the body, headstock, and fretboard gives the instrument a coherent, premium look that accentuates the beauty of the wood. Black Limba is lightweight and open in resonance, an ideal base for a seven-string guitar.

The Maple/Mahogany/Wenge/Amazakoe neck with Birdseye Maple TEW 5A fretboard and Regius 7 profile plays fast and precisely, with a 16" radius. The Velvetrone Ironside and Solium 7-string humbuckers are controlled via Bourns push-pull volume with treble bleed mod and a 3-way Electroswitch toggle. Hipshot GripLock tuners 3+4 with wooden Birdseye Maple tuner heads, scale 25.4", includes hardshell case.

The wooden tuner heads of Birdseye Maple TEW 5A are a detail that deserves attention. They are not only visually consistent with the fretboard but also add an organic, warm element to the hardware. It is precisely these kinds of thoughtful choices that distinguish the Regius Master Grade from guitars that are only impressive on paper.
