The Grand Auditorium that finally brings V-Class bracing and Claria electronics together

The Taylor 414ce Next Generation is the evolution of one of Taylor's most beloved models. Based on the familiar Grand Auditorium body, Taylor adds a series of thoughtful improvements that prepare this instrument for the demanding musician: from the studio to the stage, from fingerpicking to strumming.

The combination of a Sitka Spruce top with Indian Rosewood back and sides delivers a tone that is instantly recognizable as Taylor: clear highs, warm lows, and a slightly accented midrange that gives space to every note. The new scalloped V-Class bracing enhances resonance, improves sustain, and ensures remarkable harmonic cohesion across the entire fretboard. The Action Control Neck with long-tenon joint adds extra warmth and depth to the sound, and allows for precise neck adjustment without opening the guitar.

The ebony fretboard with Finial inlays, Taylor Gotoh Antique Chrome tuners, and the firestripe pickguard give the 414ce a timeless look. The Claria System with soundhole-mounted controls, including a Mid-Contour knob, makes amplified playing intuitive and versatile. The maple neck with a soft-C profile plays smoothly on the 25.5" scale with 20 frets. Delivered with hardcase.

For the guitarist who doesn't want to choose between tone, playability, and stage-readiness.
